Have you heard of stealth marketing?

When making videos it’s important to share useful information. When you share, and answer questions you are building your credibility.  When you flat out start by promoting yourself, guards will be up.

Videos need to be simple to work. Funny and cute video clips are more appreciated by the majority of people and tend to be shared on social networks, where the audience is very wide. You might have enjoyed a video on YouTube and you’ll never know that you have been sold a product.

That is the real power of stealth marketing. Being sold when not even knowing about it. Think like the average, everyday person. What if someone knocks on your front door or calls you out of the blue and gives you a “sales pitch”, would you be interested in buying the product? Chances are, you won’t be interested in the product once you recognized you’re being “pitched” to.

To solve that issue, make videos about what is going on in the world. What is funny, what is making you mad, what is going on in your industry, answer commonly asked questions, or spin off of other popular videos. Be real, be a person, and good traffic will come.
